Software Engineer Internship – Casablanca (Start ASAP, 6 months)

Mirage Metrics builds AI infrastructure and custom automation systems for logistics, mining, and manufacturing companies.

We operate across Morocco, Spain, and the US. Our work involves turning operational complexity into structured data and deploying AI agents that actually work in the field.

We’re hiring a Software Engineer Intern in Casablanca for a 6-month full-time internship, starting immediately. You’ll work closely with the founders and engineering team to ship production systems, improve internal tools, and contribute to new AI-based products.

What you’ll do

* Build and maintain backend services using Python (FastAPI, Django)
* Design APIs and integrate third-party systems via REST/webhooks
* Support AI product deployment across logistics and mining clients
* Work on tools that interface with LLMs (open-source or API-based)
* Iterate quickly based on real feedback from users and ops teams
* Build useful internal tools to increase delivery speed and product quality

What we’re looking for

* Proficiency in Python, Git, SQL, Docker
* Strong grasp of backend fundamentals and system integration
* Comfortable working with tools like Cursor, Replit, GPT, Claude
* Interest or experience with LLM agents, LangChain, vector databases
* Willingness to work hard on difficult technical problems
* A few side projects that show initiative and execution
* Fluent in French and English (Arabic is a plus)
* Based in Casablanca or able to relocate
