Position Summary:
The HR Manager is responsible for managing all HR functions, ensuring compliance with labor laws, maintaining a positive work environment, and supporting the company’s strategic goals within a dynamic garment manufacturing operation.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee all HR operations and maintain up-to-date employee records.
* Administer payroll processing, attendance management, and employee benefits.
* Organize and support employee training and development programs.
* Implement and monitor the company’s performance appraisal system.
* Handle employee grievances and disciplinary actions as per company policy and applicable labor laws.
* Promote workplace safety, health, and compliance according to legal and buyer requirements.
* Develop, update, and enforce HR policies, procedures, and the employee handbook.
* Foster positive employee relations and drive employee welfare initiatives.
* Liaise with government, buyers, and regulatory bodies to ensure ongoing legal and compliance requirements are met.
* Support management with HR-related data, analysis, and workforce reports for effective decision-making.
Qualification & Experience Requirements:
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
* At least 8+ years of relevant HR experience, preferably in the garment or textile sector.
* Strong understanding of Bangladesh Labor Law and factory compliance standards.
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
* Proficiency in MS Office and HR software systems.
* Good verbal and written communication skills in French and English.
