🎯 Position overview
We are looking for an HR Manager to join our team in Tangier, Morocco. This is a middle management position that combines team coordination with hands-on human resources responsibilities. You will be the main point of contact for all HR matters at the Tangier site and will coordinate with our central HR team in Spain. Conversational Spanish is required for communication with headquarters.
🔧 Key responsibilities
* Manage the full employee lifecycle: recruitment, onboarding, training, development, and offboarding.
* Ensure compliance with Moroccan labor legislation and internal company policies.
* Provide daily HR support to employees and operational teams.
* Develop and implement local HR procedures and maintain documentation.
* Collaborate with the central HR team in Spain on group-wide HR projects.
* Coordinate payroll and benefits with external providers.
* Track attendance, leaves, and manage employee records.
* Participate in performance management, training plans, and talent development.
* Support internal and external audits and reporting requirements.
* Handle HR-related communications and official documentation.
🧠 Profile
* University degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
* At least 3 years of experience in a generalist or managerial HR position.
* Strong knowledge of Moroccan labor law and HR compliance.
* Organized, proactive, and capable of handling both strategic and operational tasks.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset.
🌐 Language requirements
* Arabic – fluent/native
* English – fluent
* Spanish – intermediate or conversational (required for communication with HQ).
🛠️ Technical skills
* Solid command of Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
* Familiarity with digital HR tools (Bizneo or similar) or other People ERP.
* Experience with payroll coordination and employee data management.
📅 Contract: Full-time, permanent
