Job Description Summary

In this role, the candidate will be responsible for the Engineering of the Substation

Automation Systems (DCS) and Protection. The candidate will closely coordinate the

activities with GE Engineering team.

Job Description

Main responsibilities include but not limited to:


* Responsible for the Engineering of the Substation Automation Systems (DCS ).
* Responsible for the Engineering of the Protection.
* Participate in technical activities for assigned projects.
* Design of the Substation LAN networks / Communication Architectures and

configuration of industrial ethernet switches / routers and satellite clocks.

Qualifications/Requirements


* Knowledge of Sequencing & interlocking principles used in substation automation

systems.


* Knowledge of communication/Automation protocols
* Good knowledge and use of CAD software’s such as AutoCAD, MS-VISIO.
* Excellent in MS-Office package (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook).
* Fluent in English and Arabic languages. (oral, reading and writing)
