Regional Operations Manager - Textile Quality & Safety Solutions

Location: Marrakesh, Morocco - initially on-site, moving to hybrid

Salary: MAD 590,000 - 700,000 p.a. (USD 60,000 - 70,000) + 10-20% bonus + benefits package

We are now seeking an experienced Regional Operations Manager to lead and transform operations in Morocco. This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role - perfect for an internationally minded professional from the textile or softlines manufacturing sector with a strong track record in P&L management, operational excellence, and multicultural team leadership.

Key Requirements

We are looking for a high-calibre operations leader with deep expertise in quality inspection and driving organisational performance.

Essential skills and experience:

* Significant background in the textile or apparel manufacturing industry.
* Proven success in senior operational leadership or quality inspection roles within a multinational environment.
* Full P&L ownership and cost control experience; demonstrable results improving profitability and margin.
* Expertise in inspection and audit operations - scheduling, due diligence, utilisation ratios, and customer delivery.
* Track record of developing and upskilling teams at field and middle-management level.
* Strong cultural awareness and ability to work effectively across multiple countries.
* Excellent stakeholder engagement skills; customer satisfaction, onboarding, and claims resolution experience.
* Capability to lead operational transformation, including automation, process optimisation, and systems implementation.
* Bachelor's degree (advanced degree preferred).
* Fluent English required; French fluency highly desirable.

Role & Responsibilities

As Regional Operations Manager, you will report to global senior leadership and take end-to-end responsibility for delivery excellence, profitability, and capability development across Morocco.

Operational & Financial Performance

* Full P&L responsibility - deliver or exceed contribution targets.
* Drive profitability through cost control, structural improvements, and automation.
* Lead efficiency programmes and implement cost-saving initiatives in underperforming areas.
* Strengthen and stabilise middle-management structures for sustainable growth.

Efficiency & Team Performance

* Maximise utilisation and productivity across inspection and audit teams.
* Improve planning and scheduling via proactive training and digitalisation.
* Embed robust contract management and field team due diligence.
* Lead the evolution from QC to QA to QE standards across the region.
* Build clear learning and qualification pathways for inspectors and auditors.
* Empower middle managers to participate in customer reviews and meetings.

Customer Satisfaction & Delivery Quality

* Reduce claims and complaints - maintain claims ratio below 0.2%.
* Lead client kick-off meetings, training, and SOP validation during onboarding.
* Drive continuous improvement in service delivery and back-office coordination.

Technical Expertise & Innovation

* Build a technically strong audit and inspection team aligned with commercial goals.
* Support new service innovation to meet emerging compliance and speed-to-market needs.
* Partner with technical leads to deliver customer-centric improvements.
