Position Overview
Reporting directly to the hardware Production Manager , our future Production Supervisor/Coordinator will be responsible for JIT Seating Assembly line.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist the Production Manager in supervising Team Leaders in manufacturing and daily operations to achieve set objectives.
* Lead daily start-of-shift meetings with Team Leaders to communicate their daily roles.
* Plan and execute daily operations based on production orders received from PSA.
* Ensure safe and ethical work practices.
* Work closely with the warehouse to obtain raw materials used in production according to customer demand with maximum optimization.
* Raise awareness and instill a sense of quality consciousness in all Team Leaders and continuously achieve the quality objectives set by the Quality Department.
* Ensure discipline and rigor.
* Maintain the 5S system.
* Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards and health, safety, and environmental rules according to the seven key elements and ISO 14001.
* Participate in the implementation of KAIZEN culture on the production line.
* Actively collaborate with all functions to achieve/maintain the following certifications: IATF 16949, ISO 14001:2015, QSB+ and LPOF.
* Assign team members based on qualifications and workload nature.
* Ensure the achievement of planned programs in terms of quality, quantity, and deadlines.
* Ensure the necessary skills & Training according to matrix of team members.
* Lead and encourage improvement proposals.
* Ensure hazardous products used in the plant are identified and properly handled.
* Ensure achievement of hourly objectives.
* Monitor quality indicators such as IPPM, DPPM, RFT, and Efficiency.
* Ensure the right Back-ups to avoid customer perturbation
Key Skills And Qualifications
* Master’s / Engineer degree in industrial, electrical or mechanical engineering
* 2 to 3 years of experience in the automotive industry mainly in operations
* Experience in digitalization automation and data analysis is an advantage
* Fluent French & English (written and spoken)
* Experience in leading a group and work shops
* Leadership, Effective communication, Team management and crisis management
* High reactivity and problem solving skills
