Role Description The Psychology Trainee role is a full-time, on-site position based in Casablanca. The trainee will assist with intake interviews, collect client histories, and support psychological assessments under supervision. Daily tasks include administering and scoring basic psychological tests, observing counseling or therapy sessions, and maintaining accurate, confidential records. The role also involves assisting with psychoeducational activities, preparing educational materials, and participating in case discussions and team meetings. The trainee will be expected to stay informed about current psychological research, follow ethical guidelines, and collaborate with other professionals to support clients’ mental health and educational needs.
Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Psychology, with knowledge of major theories, approaches, and ethical standards.

• Basic experience or training in Psychological Testing, including administering, scoring, and interpreting standardized measures under supervision.

• Effective Communication skills, including active listening, clear written documentation, and respectful interaction with clients and colleagues.

• Demonstrated interest or experience in Mental Health support, such as counseling settings, community services, or related environments.

• Background or interest in Education, particularly in psychoeducation, workshops, or supporting learners’ emotional and academic development.

• Currently enrolled in or completion of a bachelor’s or master’s program in Psychology or a closely related field.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality, manage sensitive information, and work with diverse populations in a non-judgmental manner.

• Strong organizational skills, reliability, and willingness to receive supervision, feedback, and ongoing training.

• Proficiency in relevant office and documentation software; familiarity with basic research methods is an advantage.
