Fall Creek is creating a world with better blueberries through its friendly, collaborative team spread across the globe. To help us accomplish this, we are seeking a qualified HR Supervisor Morocco. This position will be located in RABAT.

Position Summary

The Human Resources Supervisor is primarily responsible for carrying out the day-to-day activities of the human resources function in Morocco. The employee is responsible for implementing HR best practices in the country, law enforcement, recruitment of personnel, custodian of employment conditions, wages and compensation, benefits, internal/external training, oversight of performance management and labor relations, This position collaborates with the supervisors of each team, in promoting and supporting Fall Creek's culture throughout the organization.

This position performs work at a professional level and requires a high degree of collaboration, trust and judgment in problem solving, search for solutions, and decision making.

ORGANIZATIONAL FIT:

This position reports to the Country Manager MA and functionally to the HR Manager EMEA and is a member of the EMEA HR team. This position collaborates and gives support to managers, supervisors, and employees in the Moroccan organization and the EMEA HR team.

JOB SETTING:

Office and nursery settings. May travel regionally / internationally as needed.

KEY FUNCTIONS (Other Duties May Be Assigned)


* Primary responsibility is the performance of the day-to-day activities of the HR function.
* Makes recommendations to the Country Manager and HR Director and assists in the effective implementation of the HR strategy.
* Ensures that programs and policies are aligned with the company's objectives and culture.
* Responsible for the implementation of talent acquisition strategies and retention plans, including long-term labor supply, labor agreements, terms of employment and primary contact person with labor contractors.
* Prepare job descriptions, carry out recruiting activities, responds to applicants, and follows fair practice with relation to all internal recruitment efforts before and after the job offer.
* Conduct effective induction/orientation, onboarding, integration and probationary review activities for all staff, including overall administration and record keeping of these practices.
* Under the established guidelines, assist with drafting and implementing employment contracts and statutory requirements for new hires in a timely manner.
* Collaborates with outside labor contractors: reconciles work records and reviews invoices. Verifies legal responsibilities of subcontracted labor.
* Responsible for the implementation of programs that promote and support employee training and development. Identifies training needs. Manages external service providers and vendor relationships as needed
* Assist managers and supervisors in resolving work issues related to misconduct, poor performance, recognition and reward programs in order to maintain a healthy work environment.
* Primarily responsible for HR reporting and metrics, which includes documenting and maintaining accurate and timely data. Responsible for following all data privacy and disclosure requirements.
* Collaborate with the finance team in the pay process, payroll reconciliation
* Assists in the necessary processing of all employment requirements within the current legislation, in terms of registrations, terminations and modifications with official bodies, as well as dismissals or disciplinary warnings.
* Implements benefit programs to attract and retain staff.
* Compiles and prepares confidential spreadsheets, audit reports, research, and other complex documents. Research and collect data, case law, amendments to legislation, compile information, and help with the preparation of reports on related topics
* Carry out a variety of administrative support functions qualified for complexity moderate in support of human resources.
* Help with budget functions and expense management within the department
* Help with the organization of events and corporate functions.
* Assists with writing and preparing content for Human Resources communications.

Required Education, Knowledge, Skills And Training


* Fluent Arabic/ Darija & English. Third language (Spanish or French) would be a plus.
* Typically requires an Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field of study, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Requires 5+ years administrative support experience preferably in a human resources department.
* Ability to communicate effectively using tact, courtesy, and good judgment while representing the Company in a positive manner. Must have a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation.
* Highly proficient using Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
* Ability to prioritize work, follow through on a variety of requests and meet required deadlines.
* Strong attention to detail is required.
* Ability to maintain a good working relationship with co-workers and to use good judgement in recognizing scope of authority.
* Regular and reliable attendance is expected
* Must demonstrate professional and ethical business practices, adherence to company values, and a commitment to personal and professional development.
