Role Purpose:

As an HR Manager, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and launching our presence in Morocco. Your responsibilities will include overseeing talent acquisition, workforce planning, fostering a positive work environment, and ensuring compliance with Health & Safety regulations. To support your success, you will receive onboarding training in our European locations and continuous support from the Regional HR team.


Key Responsibilities:


Manpower Planning:

* Collaborate on staffing plans throughout all project phases, from pre-commissioning to full operations, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines.

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition:

* Lead the recruitment process for all plant positions, including job descriptions, interview coordination, and candidate selection.
* Partner with a local temporary staffing agency to support hiring during the plant setup phase.

Onboarding & Training:

* Develop and implement onboarding programs, working closely with HR Regional Teams to ensure smooth integration into the PKC environment.
* Facilitate training initiatives to support employees in transitioning into their new roles effectively.

Compliance & Policy Development:

* Work with the PKC Regional HR team to establish HR policies that align with Motherson guidelines, the Code of Conduct, and local labour laws.
* Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) tailored to the plant’s specific needs.

Employee Relations & Engagement:

* Promote a positive work environment by addressing employee concerns, managing conflicts, and fostering a strong company culture.
* Implement engagement initiatives to enhance employee morale and retention.

HR Administration and Payroll:

* Manage and establish the Payroll and administration function, initially through third party services provider.

Health & Safety:

* Establish Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) functions within the plant.
* Collaborate with the Project Team to ensure appropriate safety measures etc. in the plant.
* Develop and enforce safety culture and EHS policies in alignment with Motherson’s EHS rules.

Your Profile:

* Minimum 3 years of experience as an HR Manager in an international, manufacturing (automotive) environment (greenfield or brownfield experience is a plus).
* Strong expertise in recruitment and employer branding.
* In-depth knowledge of local labour laws and HR compliance.
* Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and adept at problem-solving.
* Well-organized and reliable, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* Ability to adapt quickly to changing project requirements.
* Familiarity with IATF, ISO and Lean Manufacturing principles.
* Proficiency in MS Office.
* Fluent Arabic as well as written and spoken English.
