At G+D, we are looking for a Business Development Manager for North Africa.


Responsibilities

* Strong and dynamic leadership of Payment Products, Services and Solution Sales within North Africa sales region in coordination with the Sales Director of North Africa
* Focus on triggering new sales opportunities, by finding appropriate solutions in our product mix, and packaging them in an offer to meet the customers’ requirements.
* Establish and maintain firm business relationships to customers
* Achieve assigned individual sales targets, as well as company objectives for the allocated sales area
* Establishment and management of C-level contacts with business partners and key customers.
* Generate customer requirements and leads through sales visits and close customer contact, actively visit the larger end-user accounts.
* Processing of customer enquiries and relevant tenders (also in the region).
* Negotiation and determination of contract conditions and prices for customers.
* Definition and preparation of a short/mid/long term sales plan, especially with regard to the acquisition of new customers.
* Develop an account strategy for a 3-5 years view (i.e. Master plan and Key Account Plan)
* Set realistic qualitative and quantitative long-term targets and identify upside potential
* Accurate reporting of Order Income, revenues, and forecast of sales activities in Sales Force
* Combine G&D’s product and service portfolio, seizing cross-selling opportunities, to offer an optimum solution for the key account, complemented by an appropriate price strategy
* Recognize and communicate opportunities for global expansion and alliances
* Use sources inside the customer’s organisation as well as published information to understand customer’s TAM, corporate targets and strategy, strengths and Red Flags
* Gather comprehensive information about G&D competitors through customer contacts, trade shows, conferences and develop a thorough understanding of competitor’s USPs


Key Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in business or a technical field.
* 10+ years in sales, including 5+ in leadership.
* Expertise in banking and payments (Issuing, Acquiring, E-commerce).
* Strong negotiation, leadership, and customer relationship skills.
* Experience with EMV technology, digital payments, and Salesforce.
* Proven track record in pipeline development and go-to-market execution.
* Flexible, dynamic, and willing to travel.
