Business developer (aeronautique)

We are hiring a Business Developer for the aerospace sector or a similar industry.

The Business Developer will be responsible for developing and structuring collaborations between the research center and industrial, institutional, and academic stakeholders. He will contribute to the valorization of innovations and secure funding for research projects through strategic partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

▪️Responsible for managing and developing relationships with external partners and stakeholders. This may include working with businesses, organizations, universities and government agencies to identify and pursue opportunities for collaboration, funding, and other types of support.

▪️Develop and manage relationships with external partners, including businesses, universities, organizations, and government agencies, to identify and pursue collaboration and funding opportunities.

▪️Lead efforts to secure financial resources through membership growth, grants, and other revenue streams.

▪️Monitor market trends and industry needs to identify emerging opportunities for the center.

▪️Develop and negotiate collaboration agreements (research contracts, licensing, consortiums) and manage contract lifecycles, including renewals and risk assessment.

▪️Support researchers in structuring and submitting collaborative projects.

▪️Coordinate and lead partnership-related initiatives and activities.

▪️Contribute to startup/spinoff creation and technology transfer strategy.

▪️Represent the center at conferences, trade fairs, and strategic events.

Required Skills :

Technical Skills:

• Strong understanding of innovation ecosystems and R&D environments.

• Knowledge of intellectual property management and technology transfer.

• Experience in managing collaborative projects and securing funding.

Commercial & Interpersonal Skills:

• Ability to negotiate and manage relationships with diverse stakeholders.

• Capacity to synthesize and communicate scientific results to non-technical decision-makers.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, French, Arabic

Preferred Profile:

• Education: Master’s degree (or higher) in engineering, business, or a relevant scientific field, with a specialization in innovation, technology management, or business development.

• Experience: [5 ] years of experience in business development, technology transfer, or partnership management in a scientific or technological environment.

• Languages: Fluent in frensh & English
