Role Description
The Sushi Chef will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality sushi dishes, ensuring an exceptional culinary experience for guests. Responsibilities include sourcing and handling fresh seafood, maintaining high standards of hygiene in food preparation, and adhering to kitchen safety protocols. The role also involves creating innovative sushi dishes, ensuring consistency, and collaborating with the culinary team. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Salé, Rabat Marriott Hotel.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in Food Preparation and maintaining high standards of Hygiene in a professional kitchen
* Advanced skills in Cooking and Culinary techniques, with a focus on sushi preparation
* Expertise in Seafood handling and storage to ensure the optimal quality of ingredients
* A strong understanding of kitchen safety and food-handling procedures
* Attention to detail, creativity, and commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences
* Prior experience as a Sushi Chef or in a similar role, preferably in a fine dining or luxury hotel setting
* A culinary certification or equivalent qualification is a plus
* Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
