CommonShare is hiring a Supply‑Side Onboarding Associate to bring new and existing suppliers onto our platform and set them up for long‑term success. This is a phone‑heavy, outward‑facing role: you’ll spend the majority of your day on outbound calls with suppliers and prospective partners, guiding them through account setup, data/configuration, and best practices. You should be completely fluent in English, comfortable explaining technical concepts in plain language, and energized by sustainability, products, and helping customers.
What you’ll do
* High‑volume outbound calling to current and prospective suppliers to drive sign‑ups, complete onboarding steps, and accelerate time‑to‑value.
* Run structured onboarding sessions: account creation, permissions, profile/certification setup, catalog or data import (e.g., CSV templates), and basic integration/connectivity checks.
* Diagnose and unblock technical issues (e.g., login/access, file formatting, API keys/webhooks/SFTP basics) and coordinate deeper issues with Product/Engineering or Support.
* Educate partners on how CommonShare supports sustainability/transparency goals; connect platform capabilities to suppliers’ business outcomes.
* Maintain clean, detailed CRM notes; manage follow‑ups, tasks, and sequences to keep every partner moving.
* Collaborate cross‑functionally (Sales, Product, Standards/Compliance, Support) to improve onboarding flows and close feedback loops (“voice of the customer”).
* Track and report progress against daily/weekly activity and activation targets (calls, connects, completed checklists, time‑to‑activation, CSAT).
* Contribute to and continually refine call guides, email templates, and onboarding documentation.
What you’ll bring
* Native‑level/near‑native English fluency, with clear, confident phone presence and excellent writing.
* 1–3+ years in outbound customer‑facing roles (Onboarding/Implementation, SDR/BDR, Customer Success, Support) in B2B/SaaS or marketplace settings.
* Technical aptitude: comfortable with modern web apps, spreadsheets, data imports (CSV/XLSX), and reading basic integration docs; able to translate technical steps into approachable guidance.
* Genuine interest in product and sustainability—curiosity about supply chains, certifications/standards, and how technology drives better practices.
* Strong organization and follow‑through: you manage dozens of accounts at once without losing the thread.
* Resilience and a builder mindset: you’re motivated by targets, coachable, and eager to iterate.

* Familiarity with common sustainability or product standards/certifications (e.g., GOTS, FSC, Fairtrade, B Corp)—or a fast learner ready to ramp.
