Role Purpose
· Developing new marketing strategies for purchase of copper & aluminium scrap as well
as sales of products or introduce new products
· Developing financial models to determine the cost of producing a product in order to
forecast price changes that will be profitable for the company
· Monitoring market prices for commodities such as base metals, precious metals, other
raw materials
· Studying economic trends and forecasts to identify market opportunities or risks
· Conducting research on specific commodities in order to identify opportunities for profit
· Negotiating contracts with suppliers or customers to buy or sell commodities based on
pre-established terms
· Researching trends in the industry such as supply and demand forecasts, political
developments, and technological innovations that may affect prices
· Reviewing trading records and other financial information to identify areas for
improvement in operations
· Managing the inventory of commodities held in storage facilities as well as inventory held
by suppliers or customers
Key Areas of Responsibility & Duties
Key area – Marketing of Finished Product
· Understand the Morocco finished copper & Aluminum requirement wrto quality, quantity, applications, buying prices ,etc · Develop marketing strategy for sale of goods keeping proper product mix as well as customer base. · Develop long term supply contract with automotive /aeronautical sector. · Understand new product requirement and work with plant team to develop the same for value addition. · Understand global pricing /market and place the products in line with import parity prices or global pricing index.
Qualifications & Skill Requirements :

· 10-15 years of experience in similar or related position at global level for metal & mining companies.
· Ability to communicate both in English and French
· Ability to work on MS office
