Production Specialist

We are seeking a "Production Specialist " for our production facility in Morocco which operates within the Norm Fasteners organization who aligns with the principles of our organization and values self-development, possessing the following qualifications.

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS

* Graduate of Mechanical Engineering or Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from Faculties of Engineering.
* At least 3 years of experience in the manufacturing/production industry.
* Preferably has experience in the automotive sector.
* Experienced in lean manufacturing systems and Kaizen–5S practices.
* Knowledgeable in autonomous maintenance applications.
* Proficient in MS Office; proficiency in SAP is preferred.
* Advanced level of English, Arabic and French.

JOB DESCRIPTION

* Ensure the implementation of production plans received from the Planning Department.
* Ensure that planned production quantities are manufactured with the required quality and on time.
* Monitor downtime causing productivity losses and take necessary actions.
* Ensure smooth operation of the process under responsibility.
* Carry out improvement activities related to the process.
* Provide operator trainings.
* Coordinate SMED, kaizen, and productivity-improvement initiatives and take an active role.
* Monitor the machine KPIs within the area of responsibility.
* Track and record suspicious cases in the system.
* Implement poke-yoke applications to prevent defects and customer complaints.
* Analyze defects, provide necessary trainings to operators, and prepare one-point lessons.
* Ensure accurate and complete SPC data entries.
* Ensure reporting of process-related activities.
* Identify needs for 5S, request necessary materials, and follow up on 5S training and implementation.
* Design and procure required production equipment, and coordinate commissioning of new equipment.
* Take an active role in the suggestion system and follow up on implementation of accepted suggestions.
* Monitor proper use of personal protective equipment by employees.
* Commission new projects and ensure stable mass-production conditions.
* Solve and improve project-based issues.
* Update system records based on changes in project mold/tool drawings.
