The Opportunity:

We are searching for a highly driven and intellectually curious Investment Associate to join our exceptional investment team. You will be based in Morocco and work remotely with the team in Egypt to lead Algebra's investments in Morocco and the region. You will have immediate exposure to all facets of venture capital investing—from sourcing transformative startups to partnering closely with founders and supporting their growth journeys.

What You'll Do:

* Investment Evaluation & Execution:
* Source and identify high-potential startups through active networking and ecosystem engagement
* Develop and articulate compelling investment theses across diverse sectors
* Conduct in-depth market research, competitive analysis, and build robust financial models and projections
* Deal Structuring & Due Diligence:
* Manage rigorous due diligence processes, coordinating closely with legal, financial, and external advisors
* Lead deal execution from initial engagement through closing, gaining hands-on experience across the full investment lifecycle
* Portfolio Impact:
* Collaborate directly with portfolio company executives on strategic initiatives and operational improvements
* Track key performance metrics, support fundraising activities, and assist with strategic partnerships and exit opportunities
* Financial Insight:
* Produce insightful analyses of portfolio companies' financial health and business performance
* Assist in creating transparent, data-driven fund reports for internal and external stakeholders

Who You Are:

* Hold a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Management, or a related discipline
* 3+ years of experience in venture capital, investment banking, private equity, consulting, or related roles
* Possess outstanding analytical rigor and creativity, coupled with superior quantitative and organizational skills
* Exceptional communicator with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and compellingly
* Thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, effectively managing multiple projects with meticulous attention to detail
* Passionate about technology, innovation, and deeply committed to partnering with visionary entrepreneurs
