Compliance & Audit Manager

Job Purpose :

Internal Audits :

Internal audits enable an organization to follow processes, procedures, and guidelines. On the other hand, a compliance audit ensures that the organization is fulfilling outside obligations such as agreements, rules and regulations, or standards. Internal audits can operate in Finance / Operations / IT / Sales / Marketing & regulatory, but are conducted using formal audit approaches prior to an outside compliance audit to ensure that the organization is following the standards.

Compliance Audits :

• Ensuring that the company complies with regulations or codes of conduct to make sure that reviews are holistic.

Operational Audits:

• Identify how effective and efficient various departments and activities are and whether these areas operate in line with the mission and purpose of the organization.

Audit and Compliance :

• Monitor compliance with laws and regulations and detect illegal activities to prevent risks by imposing sanctions on violators.

• Minimize legal risks upon overall legal compliance management by supporting and providing legal advice and related supports.

• Auditors review the accounting records, operational data, and financial records of companies to ensure their financial records are accurate and in line with generally accepted accounting principles.

Auditors might inspect the accounts of the company they work for or those of other organizations.

Compliance Auditor Requirements:

· Bachelor's degree in the relevant industry.

· Completion of relevant industry-specific certification, such as a certified internal auditor.

· A minimum of 5 years' auditing – Compliance experience.

· An in-depth understanding of the industry's rules, guidelines, and regulations.

· Strong attention to detail, analytical, and statistical skills.

· Good computer skills and experience with relevant software programs.

· Strong communication and multitasking skills.

· Dedication to objectivit
