Contract Engineer - Morocco Midelt

Job description:

We are looking for a Contract Manager, to join a project be based in Morocco, Midelt area (grand scale project). Background needed:

* EPC contract management: Experience in drafting, reviewing and executing contracts under FIDIC or similar standards, ideally in renewable energy or infraestructure projects.
* Claims and change management: Ability to hadle claims, disputes and contractual modifications, ensuring compliance with established terms and conditions.
* Forensic analysis.
* Knowledge of project planning and cost control.
* Knowledge of the energy sector: Familiarity with photovoltaic or renewable energy projects, with a focus on Moroccan regulations and applicable international regulations.
* Proficiency in French and English, both oral and written, is essential to facilitate communication with suppliers, local contractors and international teams.
* Risk management skills: Ability to identify contractual risks and mitigate them proactively.
* Interpersonal and negotiation skills: Abiltiy to interact and negotiate with contractors and skateholders, while maintaning project interests and meeting deadlines.
* Familiarity with contract management tools: Use of sofware such a Primavera P6 or MS Project, and specialisded tools for contract monitoring.

* Required academic degree: Relevant engineering degree,

Required experience:

* 5 years working as Contract Engineer in EPC projects.

Job location:

* First in Casablanca, Morocco for a few weeks.
* Then, until the end of the project, on-site, near Midelt, Morocco where you will be housed and fed.

Type of position:

* The estimated duration of this project are 20 months.
