Role Description

This is an on-site volunteer opportunity with Marrakech Green Wheels. As a volunteer, you will support our mission to promote sustainable development, climate action, and community empowerment, with cycling as a central tool for change.

Volunteers will actively contribute to:

* Organizing and participating in bike repair workshops and cycling education
* Supporting ecosystem restoration through clean-ups, planting, and green initiatives
* Assisting in education and awareness programs in schools and public spaces
* Engaging in cultural exchanges
* Empowering local communities through hands-on, inclusive activities

This role offers a meaningful experience to create a positive impact on the environment and people’s lives while working alongside passionate changemakers.

Qualifications

* Passion for cycling, sustainable development, and environmental protection
* Strong teamwork spirit
* Willingness to engage in fieldwork and adapt to community needs
* Previous volunteer or community experience (a plus)
* Basic understanding of environmental issues and climate action
* Motivation to learn, share, and grow through service
* Language Arabic and English (French is a plus)
* Background in education, social work, environmental science, or similar fields is an asset
