Job Overview

As the Vice President of Operations, you will be fully responsible for the establishment and optimization of the company's operating system, promote efficient collaboration of business processes, improve delivery quality and customer satisfaction, and ensure the sustainability and stability of the company's operations in the face of rapid growth and market competition. You need to coordinate multiple business lines such as manufacturing/purchasing/logistics/quality/customer service, formulate and implement operational strategies, and work closely with cross-departmental teams to jointly achieve annual performance goals.


Main Responsibilities

Strategic Planning and Execution


Formulate medium- and long-term operational strategies that are highly consistent with the company's overall strategy;


Break down strategies into specific operational goals and key performance indicators (KPIs), and supervise their implementation.


Process and System Optimization


Review existing business processes, identify bottlenecks and continuously improve them;


Promote the launch and iteration of management systems such as ERP, WMS, and CRM to improve automation and dataization;


Establish standardized operating manuals and SOPs to ensure cross-team collaboration efficiency.


Supply Chain and Logistics Management


Plan raw material/product procurement, inventory management and distribution network to ensure the stability and cost efficiency of the supply chain;


Optimize warehousing and transportation solutions to reduce logistics costs and improve delivery timeliness.


Performance Monitoring and Cost Control


Establish a comprehensive operational data dashboard to monitor production efficiency, quality indicators, costs and delivery in real time;


Develop and promote cost reduction plans, optimize cost structure, and ensure operating profit margins.


Team Building and Leadership


Recruit, train and manage operational team managers and backbones;


Motivate the team to continue to innovate and grow through performance management, training plans and career development paths.


Quality and Compliance


Establish a quality management system (such as ISO9001, etc.) and supervise its implementation to ensure that products/services meet customer and regulatory requirements;


Lead internal and external audits and risk assessments, and formulate response plans in a timely manner.


Cross-departmental collaboration


Work closely with finance, marketing, R&D, legal and other departments to support new product introduction, market expansion and major project implementation;


Report to the senior management team on operational status and provide decision-making advice.


Supplier and External Partner Management


Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with core suppliers, logistics providers, and third-party service providers;


Negotiate contract terms to ensure service quality and cost-effectiveness.


Job Requirements

Educational Background: Bachelor degree or above, majoring in business administration, supply chain management, engineering management, etc.; MBA preferred.


Work Experience: More than 10 years of operation and management experience in large and medium-sized enterprises, at least 5 years of experience leading a team at the senior management level; those with experience in manufacturing, retail/e-commerce, fast-moving consumer goods or technology-based enterprises are preferred.


Professional Ability:


Proficient in modern operation management theory and tools (lean production, six sigma, agile management, etc.);


Familiar with ERP/WMS/SCM system implementation and optimization process;


Excellent data sensitivity, able to drive decision-making through data analysis;


Solid project management ability, good at cross-departmental and cross-regional collaboration.


Leadership and Communication:


Excellent strategic thinking and result-oriented;


Excellent change management and team building skills;


Excellent written and oral expression skills in Chinese and English, able to communicate effectively in a multicultural environment.


Personal qualities: Strong stress resistance, adaptability to fast-paced environment; strong learning ability and innovation awareness; high professional ethics and sense of responsibility.


Preferred conditions

Successfully led ERP/digital transformation projects;


Have mature supply chain resources and connections in New York or North America;


Have experience in post-merger operation integration of large enterprises;


Familiar with relevant industry compliance and regulatory requirements (such as FDA, OSHA, customs regulations, etc.).
