Job Overview
The Travel Planner – Leisure Department is responsible for creating, organizing, and managing tailor-made travel experiences for individual travelers, families, and small groups visiting Morocco. This role requires a deep understanding of Moroccan destinations, attention to detail, and a passion for crafting authentic, high-quality itineraries that reflect the country’s culture and diversity.
Key Responsibilities
* Design personalized itineraries for FIT (Free Independent Travelers) and small leisure groups, including accommodation, transportation, guided tours, and activities.
* Prepare detailed proposals and quotations according to client needs and budget, ensuring accuracy and creativity.
* Coordinate with local suppliers (hotels, riads, transport companies, guides, and activity providers) to confirm services and negotiate competitive rates.
* Ensure smooth communication with international travel partners and respond promptly to inquiries and requests.
* Handle all booking logistics—confirmations, rooming lists, transfers, and special requests—with precision.
* Monitor ongoing operations and assist with any modifications or emergencies during clients’ trips.
* Work closely with the sales and marketing team to develop innovative travel experiences and support promotional content when needed.
* Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain long-term relationships with travel agencies and partners.
Qualifications & Skills
* Degree in Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field.
* Minimum 2 years of experience in a DMC, tour operator, or travel agency (preferably in the leisure segment).
* Excellent knowledge of Moroccan destinations, culture, and travel logistics.
* Strong communication skills in English and French).
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with CRM or reservation systems.
* Organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple requests simultaneously.
