Supply Chain Leader - Morocco Locomotive (Rolling Stock) Brown/Greenfield Plant

🎯 Role Objective

As the Supply Chain Leader, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management, optimization, and development of the supply chain, from production planning and procurement to logistics, warehousing, and customs compliance. Your mission will be to ensure smooth operations, cost efficiency, and customer satisfaction in a high-quality, safety-focused manufacturing environment.

🧩 Key Responsibilities

* Build and lead the supply chain team at the Morocco greenfield site
* Supervise procurement, SQA, production planning, logistics, and warehousing operations
* Monitor team performance, assign tasks, and take action on any process deviations
* Collaborate closely with the Plant Director to solve daily challenges and anticipate supply chain risks
* Drive continuous improvement of supply chain processes and create operating procedures
* Manage ERP master data related to materials, warehousing, and transport
* Oversee demand planning and production scheduling
* Ensure material availability and optimize stock rotation
* Lead supplier management activities: negotiations, contract enforcement, quality issues, and corrective plans
* Supervise customs clearance, ensure compliance with international trade regulations
* Plan and optimize inbound/outbound transportation (domestic and international)
* Track KPIs, monitor process bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions
* Represent the company in front of customers, suppliers, and auditors
* Support team training and development initiatives
* Lead cost optimization and lean initiatives within the supply chain area

✅ Requirements

* University degree in Logistics, Management, or Economics
* Minimum 5 years of experience in Supply Chain Management (manufacturing environment preferred)
* Experience in greenfield or start-up projects is a strong plus
* Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar), WMS, and CRM
* Strong analytical skills, risk management, and process improvement mindset
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* Fluency in English (French is a strong asset)
* Leadership qualities and ability to work cross-functionally in an international environment
