Role Purpose:


As a Product Engineer, you will be responsible for defining, developing, and releasing engineering tools that support product industrialization in our new automotive wiring harness plant. You will ensure the successful integration of new product implementations, drive tool optimization, and establish guidelines that enable efficient and standardized operations.

Key Responsibilities:

* Define, develop, and release engineering tools (LAD, COP, WISE, HE, etc.).
* Continuously improve existing tools and support new product implementation.
* Prepare, develop, and release standards related to engineering tools.
* Manage and coordinate change requests for tools.
* Ensure the integration of new developments into manufacturing processes.
* Drive continuous optimization and standardization of tools.
* Define and manage documentation for deployed tools.
* Create and manage training materials for effective tool implementation.
* Review and interpret customer drawings, BOMs, and technical requirements for harnesses.
* Handle engineering change to ensure correct product updates and smooth integration into the plant.
* Support sample harness builds, prototype validation, & PPAP deliverables.
* Ensure that product designs are manufacturable and issues are raised and fixed where needed.
* Interface between plant operations and design engineering team.

Your Profile:

* Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
* Min 2 years of working experience in similar role in wiring harness automotive sector.
* Solid industrialization and process engineering background.
* Good knowledge of operational software/tools available in the market.
* Experience with Lean production principles.
* Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
* Creative and detail-oriented mindset with openness to the latest technologies.
* Well-organized and reliable, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
* Ability to adapt quickly to changing project requirements.
* Fluent in English, Arabic and French
