Job Purpose
As the Stock Manager, you will be responsible for managing physical inventory and ensuring alignment between actual stock levels and system data. You will supervise storekeepers and coordinate closely with purchasing and production teams to maintain smooth material flow and inventory accuracy. This role ensures stock availability, accuracy in records, and timely processing of goods receipts and stock transactions.

Inventory Management
* Manage physical inventory to ensure accurate stock levels and alignment with system data.
* Continuously monitor stock to prevent stockouts and maintain availability.
* Conduct regular physical counts to verify and adjust system records.
Goods Receipt & Stock Control
* Oversee receipt and inspection of goods; prepare accurate Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs).
* Ensure timely GRN creation and update stock records for inventory integrity.
Storage & Data Management
* Organize storage areas and maintain accurate SAP inventory data.
* Coordinate billing and data management for store transactions.
Team Supervision & Cross-functional Coordination
* Supervise storekeepers and coordinate material issuance as per requests.
* Liaise with purchasing and production teams to ensure smooth material flow and operational efficiency
Major Challenges
* Maintaining inventory accuracy and preventing stock discrepancies.
* Ensuring timely and accurate recording of goods receipts and stock movements.
* Coordinating efficiently between stores, purchasing, and production teams.
* Managing stock availability to avoid stockouts while controlling excess inventory.

Educational Qualifications
* Master’s Degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent
Relevant Experience
* Above 5 years of experience in inventory or stock management.
Skills
* Fluent in French and English (spoken and written).
* Advanced Excel and SAP (MM) user.
* Strong understanding of product costing, transfer pricing, and inventory accounting.
* Strong knowledge of inventory management principles.
* Proficient with SAP (or equivalent inventory management systems).
* Good organizational and supervisory skills.
* Strong communication and coordination abilities.
* Detail-oriented with problem-solving mindset.
