Job Overview
We are seeking a Purchasing Manager in Casablanca, who will be responsible for :
* Developping and implementing a procurement strategy across the country, alongside the Regional Procurement Leader, to effectively manage all procurement needs and requirements.
* Ensuring maximum value delivery opportunities (global, regional, or local) are adopted while mitigating risks and ensuring superior quality from suppliers.
* Implementing the Global Procurement model within the country.
Key Responsibilities:
* Serve as the face of Procurement; set the agenda, communicate with key stakeholders, and ensure senior leadership is aware of progress and roadblocks to results.
* Build and lead a strongly engaged and high-performing team by attracting, developing, and retaining talent.
* Set direction for the team, incorporating procurement best practices in category management, together with the Regional Procurement Leader.
* Ensure innovative solutions are implemented in the value chain to enable competitive advantage in the country.
* Maintain an ongoing portfolio of productivity projects across all value levers.
* Lead the team through proactive implementation of risk mitigation strategies in key categories.
* Ensure the team actively participates in or drives the development and implementation of category strategies.
* Lead the development of local procurement procedures across the country and monitor compliance against them.
* Ensure supplier performance (quality, innovation, etc.) for local suppliers.
* Ensure adoption of approved procurement tools.
* Drive sustainability practices within the country to support global and regional sustainability strategies and targets.

Required Qualifications:
* 5+ years of experience in category management
* Proven Experience in managing local and global strategic sourcing (both direct and indirect) in FMCG industry
* Perfect Fluency in both French and English (Mandatory)
* BA required, MBA preferred.
* Proven track record of leading a procurement team.
