As an Engine Control Product Owner for Diesel Aftertreatment function, you will drive the functional strategy and coordinate cross-functional developments in close collaboration with project teams and technical experts. Your key missions will include:
What You’ll Do:
Product Vision & Strategy
* Define and carry the functional vision for aftertreatment systems (SCR, DPF, NOx, regeneration, urea injection, etc.)
* Align the roadmap with project milestones, regulatory requirements (OBD, Euro 7...), and product quality targets
* Build and prioritize the feature backlog based on customer value, technical feasibility, and risk
Backlog Management
* Collect, formalize, and structure functional needs
* Write clear user stories and define acceptance criteria
* Ensure traceability and backlog prioritization across software releases
Agile Development Leadership
* Collaborate daily with Control manager, control designers, calibration engineers, validation teams, and system architects
* Participate in agile ceremonies (PI Planning, sprint reviews, backlog grooming...)
* Drive convergence between product roadmap and technical deliveries
Performance & Quality Monitoring
* Monitor delivery progress and ensure functional robustness and software quality
* Act on field feedback, quality issues, and regulatory updates
* Be the reference point for the functional maturity of the product
Cross-functional Interface
* Liaise with project teams, regulation, suppliers, and quality departments
* Contribute to design decisions and technical arbitration when needed
What You’ll Bring :
* Embedded systems/Electromechanical Engineer with 6 years+ relevant experience in control activities
* Strong knowledge of diesel aftertreatment systems and automotive regulations (OBD, Euro 6/7)
* Experience with Agile methodologies and Product Ownership is a plus
* Leadership
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Fluent in English/French
