About the role


Attached to the Sales VP Large Projects, the head of pre-sales projects intervenes in complex pre-sales cases (particularly on the IRIS2 programme of the European satellite constellation) which require the establishment of a project-based organisation.

He/she takes charge of the management and construction of the commercial offer involving different areas of expertise and competence, coordinating all the actors in charge of the pre-sales, the qualification of needs, the development of the technical and operational offer, and if necessary the presentation of the offer.

He/she leads the development of the architecture for operator customer solutions on technical aspects, services, costs and deadlines.

Description of mission and activities

Large Projects works closely with:

  • Regional sales teams and OWI (Orange Wholesale International) marketing;

  • other entities/BUs

Large Projects is responsible for:

  • Management of business opportunities projects (RLO-RBO, steercos);

  • the contractualisation (with legal, invoicing,...);

  • identifying opportunities on new segments and pipeline development (examples: new MEO-LEO satellite operators, data centers, professional services for new submarine cable projects, indirect distribution partners, MVNOs).


About you


* 10 years experience
* Telco engineer or equivalent, you want to invest in complex strategic projects from the pre-sales stage, multi-business units, build tailor-made offers and access a high level of technical-commercial negotiation in an international context.
* You are autonomous in the technological choices that you know how to defend before the client and internally, including in English.
* Satellite expertise would be a plus.
* Fluency in English and French, both written and verbal.
