Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer

About the Client and Role

Our client, a leading Automotive company, is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will play a key role in monitoring production operations, ensuring quality standards, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

* Monitor daily production activities to ensure goals are met within established timelines.
* Apply Lean tools to enhance productivity, efficiency, and quality.
* Prepare, implement, and document product changes.
* Develop error-prevention procedures.
* Create technical specifications for procurement and suppliers.
* Coordinate delivery of original products to customers with all necessary documentation.
* Collaborate with the Simultaneous Development Team (SDT) on Statements of Work (SOW), Capital Appropriation Requests (CAR), and accurate data entry in the Trim Product Data Management (TPDM) system.
* Suggest and implement process improvements.
* Manage administrative tasks including daily reporting and data entry per company procedures.
* Develop detailed activity plans for production processes.
* Follow all relevant work procedures.
* Recognize and respond effectively to customer expectations.

Skills and Qualifications

* Fluent in English (mandatory).
* Strong knowledge of Lean methodologies and continuous improvement processes.
* Proven experience in manufacturing engineering within a plant environment.
* Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
* Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
