Job Title:        Junior Raw Materials Trader


Job Location: Casablanca, Morocco


Reporting to: Sales Executive (Morocco Office)

Overview


Great opportunity to grow in an international trading business. The job will focus on the marketing and distributing of various Packaging Raw Materials such as Packaging Steel, Polymers, PET resins, Paper & Chemicals in Morocco, Tunisia and neighbouring African countries.


Requirements

·        Bachelor’s degree in business, Economics, International Trade, Engineering, or related field.

·        Minimum 2 years of experience working in trading company, supply chain, or related product field.

·        Mandatory English speaking

* Knowledge of Materials: Exposure to plastics, paper, or steel markets is highly advantageous.
* Driver’s license required for this position.
* Knowledge of Microsoft office
* Knowledge of incoterms, import/export procedures, shipping documents.

Key tasks:

Market Research & Analysis:

* Monitor market trends, price movements, and supply-demand dynamics for plastics, paper, and steel.
* Gather intelligence on competitors, customers, and new market opportunities.
* Regular visits to customers in Morocco and other countries.

·        Attend industry events, exhibitions, and trade fairs when required.


·        Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, and other market participants


Trading & Sales Support:

* Support Senior SALES EXECUTIVE in executing purchase and sales contracts.
* Assist in price negotiations and prepare quotations for clients.
* Maintain and update customer database, trading positions, exposure, and pricing data.


Logistics & Operations Coordination:

* Liaise with logistics, documentary, accounts and operations team in London HQ and colleagues in other regional offices. Relationship Management:
