Senior Full Stack Engineer Hypeo Ai

You’re an experienced enough engineer that you can code well without LLMs, but why would you do that in 2026, right? You’ll spend most of your time shipping high-quality product features end-to-end, partnering closely with product and design, and raising the bar through strong engineering craft, reliability, and ownership.

Hypeo is an AI-powered creator marketplace: we help brands and creators run performance-driven influencer campaigns with less friction and better outcomes.

We are seed-stage, shipping fast, and learning every day. If you like owning outcomes end-to-end and building the foundations that let a marketplace scale, you will fit in.

About the role :

You will build the systems that make Hypeo both reliable and delightful, across the product and across the stack: campaign execution, marketplace workflows, integrations, payments, and the internal tooling that keeps operations crisp.

Hypeo is AI-powered, which means a lot of our product experience depends on data quality, data flow, and fast iteration on models and heuristics. You will sit close to that loop: designing APIs and services that make AI features dependable in production.

This is a seed-stage role. That means you will ship product-critical work quickly, make pragmatic architectural choices, and improve the platform as we learn.

You will work directly with the founding team and product leadership, alongside engineers who care about correctness, simple systems, and fast feedback loops.

Stack: Java / Spring Boot (backend), React / NextJS (frontend), PHP Symfony (admin)

Responsibilities & What you’ll ship

• Build and ship full-stack features (Java, Postgres, and React with Next.js), owning work end-to-end from design to deployment.

• 👆 Do that all with clean, well-tested code.

• Design and implement backend services and APIs (data models, integrations, reliability), while contributing comfortably in the frontend when needed.

• Design scalable architectures that stay simple: clear boundaries, strong observability, and predictable performance.

• Improve reliability and operability: monitoring, alerting, tracing, sensible SLOs, and incident learnings.

• Level up the developer experience and processes that we all run on

• Model data thoughtfully. Make it easy for the team to reason about state, consistency, and change over time.

• Partner closely with product and operations to turn messy real-world problems into well-scoped systems. This means participating in planning and estimation, breaking down ambiguous problems, proposing approaches, and driving them to completion.

• Raise the quality bar through code review, testing strategy, and incremental refactors.

What you’ll bring

• You’re an excellent software engineer with strong product sense.

• You’re obsessed with optimising your coding agent workflow - and about understanding how best to use coding agents in real production codebases at scale

• You are fluent in both French and English.

• You can work across the stack: you’re comfortable designing robust backend services and you can build polished UI flows when required.

• You make good trade-offs and communicate them clearly. You can choose the simplest thing that works *and* know when to invest.

• You’re calm under pressure and can bring order to ambiguity.

• You take ownership: you follow through, you raise issues early, and you care about quality.
