About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled Technical Talent Development Specialist with a strong experience in CATERPILLAR engines, who will lead the strategy for technical training and career development by designing, implementing, and evaluating programs tailored to various skill levels and roles, ensuring operational excellence, alignment with T&D master plans, and continuous adaptation to technological advancements and customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare and deliver Basic to Advanced System, Apprenticeship Program, Product and Maintenance, NPI, Diagnostic Analysis, and Troubleshooting Training Sessions tailored to both internal and external customers, emphasizing the TCDP objectives
* Regularly update technical training materials, including assessment forms, procedures, course outlines, trainer’s modules, presentations, trainee’s handouts, and practical exercises/ simulations
* Evaluate, identify, and implement upgrades for facilities and equipment across all T&D areas/regions to ensure optimal efficiency of the technical training facility. This includes updating training literature, tools, and aids required for comprehensive T&D sessions
* Conduct technical knowledge and skills assessments and certifications at foundational, and advanced levels as outlined in the TCDP and annual operational plan
* Organize and mentor the implementation of the National Junior Trainers development program, guiding their proficiency in essential competencies to meet established standards
* Evaluate training sessions and outcomes to ensure efficient and effective achievement of learning objectives
* Maintain compliance with safety and contamination control regulations according to CAT and company standards
* Facilitate the design and implementation of competency-based training programs aligned with strategic business objectives
* Lead efforts to standardize technical training processes and procedures across multiple sites or regions
* Perform additional tasks and duties as assigned and requested by the Group T&D Director

Requirements:

* Degree in Engineering (preferably in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics)
* CIAP Certification
* Expertise in technical Training programs (TCDP, Apprenticeship, parts, PSSR, Counter and sales)
* Complete relevant CAT and Allied Advanced & Expert Technician Industry Certification
* Assessor Certification
* Minimum of 10 years of technical service experience in CAT dealership as a Technician/ Supervisor/Specialist or other relevant technical positions
* 5-6 years as a Technical Trainer at a CAT or similar dealer is highly required
* Intensive experience in CAT products, software and all related applications.
* Proven experience on EPG/Machine/Engine/Transmission/Hydraulics diagnostics and troubleshooting are essential
* High level of technical and functional specific competencies are required
* Familiarity with modern learning technologies and tools (e.g., Learning Management Systems, e-learning platforms)
