We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Food & Beverage Captain to lead our front-of-house team within a prestigious luxury hotel environment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in delivering outstanding guest service, supervising high-performing teams, and maintaining impeccable standards of food and beverage service. This role requires a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced setting, ensuring operational excellence, team motivation, and an exceptional dining experience that aligns with our brand’s reputation for luxury and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and coordinate daily front-of-house service operations.
* Ensure high levels of guest satisfaction through prompt, courteous, and efficient service.
* Assist in managing staff schedules, section assignments, and floor operations during service periods.
* Support and guide service staff, ensuring adherence to grooming, hygiene, and brand service standards.
* Communicate effectively with the kitchen and bar to ensure smooth food and beverage delivery.
* Train and onboard new staff in service procedures and company policies.
* Handle guest complaints and requests professionally, escalating as needed.
* Maintain cleanliness and readiness of dining areas, ensuring tables are properly set and organized.
* Monitor inventory of service supplies and report shortages.
* Uphold compliance with safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations.
* Contribute to achieving sales targets through upselling techniques and guest engagement.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s or Diploma in Hotel Management or any relevant field.
* Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Food & Beverage operations within the luxury hotel industry, including at least 1 year in a Food & Beverage Captain role (required)
* Strong leadership and team coordination skills.
* Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
* Detail-oriented with a proactive and professional attitude.
* Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic or Russian is an advantage.
* Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
