Job Overview

One of our clients is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Customer Service Assistant to manage guest communications and support day-to-day operations for short-term rental properties. This role requires someone who can ensure smooth guest experiences from pre-arrival to check-out, while also coordinating with cleaning, maintenance, and management teams to resolve issues quickly.


Day-to-Day Responsibilities

* Contact guests before arrival to confirm check-in details and ensure IDs match reservations
* Manage guest check-ins by confirming arrival time and monitoring access via camera
* Ensure flats are properly prepared and escalate issues (cleaning, missing items, or maintenance) while following up until resolved
* Oversee guest check-outs and confirm proper return of keys
* Coordinate special requests such as cribs, extra towels, or additional beds with the cleaning manager
* Handle disputes and complaints raised through Airbnb and Booking.com
* Respond to guest inquiries on Airbnb using the provided system for accuracy and consistency
* Delegate appropriately by directing guests to the right point of contact (cleaning manager, maintenance, etc.) for faster resolution


Must-Haves

* At least 1–2 years of experience in customer service or hospitality
* Strong organizational and follow-up skills
* Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with attention to detail
* Good English communication skills (written and spoken)
* Comfortable handling guest disputes and coordinating with multiple stakeholders
* Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities without constant supervision
