Job Summary
The Compliance Manager ensures that all company operations comply with applicable national and international regulations (civil aviation, safety, security, environment, labor laws, etc.), as well as internal standards and airline customer requirements. This role is key in identifying non-compliance risks, implementing internal controls, and promoting a culture of integrity and regulatory adherence across the organization.
Your activities
* Develop, implement, and maintain the company’s compliance program.
* Ensure compliance with IATA, ICAO, EASA, and local authority regulations (ONDA, CAA, DGAC, etc.).
* Oversee internal and external audits (regulatory, customer, ISO, etc.).
* Work with the Global QHSE team to ensure policies and procedures comply with ISO Requirements
* Stay updated on ISO standards and industry regulations
* Develop and update compliance policies, procedures, and manuals.
* Provide training and awareness sessions for operational and support teams on regulatory requirements.
* Collaborate with the HR training team and expand the current ISO training syllabus
* Identify and assess compliance risks, recommending corrective and preventive measures.
* Monitor the implementation of action plans resulting from audits and inspections.
* Act as the main point of contact with authorities, customers, and partners on compliance-related matters.
* Supervise internal investigations in case of incidents or potential violations.
* Provide regular reports to Senior Management on compliance status and identified risks..
* Prepare and submit monthly management reports relating to company systems, compliance and incidents
* Act as liaison for Swissport with the audit organization
Your profile
* Bachelor’s/Master’s in Law, Aviation, Quality/Safety Management or related field
* 10+ years’ experience in compliance (preferably in aviation industry)
* Excellent communication in English & French.
* Leadership, integrity, and a problem-solving mindset.
