Born in Morocco and built for the region, Sanadii is a proudly Moroccan brand, from Moroccans, to Moroccans, and beyond. We’re launching the first Shariah-compliant ROSCA (Daret) platform, with licensing in progress via Bank Al-Maghrib, setting a new benchmark in inclusive digital Islamic finance.

We are now seeking a visionary Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join as Co-Founder, someone who can architect our financial systems, lead capital strategy and investor relations, and embed strong governance, while deeply aligning with our mission of Shariah-compliant, inclusive finance.

🧱 The Role: Finance, Strategy, Stewardship

As CFO & Co-Founder, you will:

• Design and implement a robust financial infrastructure for early-stage growth, compliance, and long-term scale

• Lead Sanadii’s fundraising strategy from Pre-Seed to Series A and beyond

• Build and manage financial models that incorporate ESG factors, Shariah-compliant principles, ROSCA dynamics, and AI-based financial decisioning

• Develop and oversee OKRs, KPIs, financial forecasts, and investor reporting with a clear ROI and social impact lens

• Drive capital efficiency and optimise OPEX and CAPEX, ensuring Sanadii is audit-ready and regulator-aligned at every stage

• Oversee all financial documentation, licensing requirements, and direct engagement with Bank Al-Maghrib to secure regulatory approval and ongoing compliance across the future product roadmap

• Establish governance systems and advise on legal, accounting, and risk frameworks in collaboration with our Board, Shariah Committee, and legal advisors

• Serve as a public-facing co-founder and trusted voice in discussions with regulators, banks, venture capital, impact investors, and at fintech-related events

👤 Who You Are

• 8+ years of proven leadership in finance, strategy, or investment roles, preferably within FinTech or high-growth startups (especially those with models similar to digital savings, ROSCA, or Tontines)

• Deep understanding of financial operations in early-stage and regulated environments

• Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Corporate Finance, or a related field (CFA, CPA, or equivalent professional credential is a strong plus, or you are actively pursuing one)

• Fluent in financial modelling, dashboards, and forecasting using Excel, BI tools, and financial planning systems

• Strategic thinker with an operator’s mindset, able to see the macro picture and drive the micro execution

• Skilled in designing AI-informed financial workflows, including creditworthiness engines to reduce delinquency and default rates

• Bonus: familiarity with Islamic finance, Zakat, AAOIFI standards, or ROSCA/Daret mechanisms

• Bonus: technical literacy in Python or machine learning, to collaborate with engineering and data science teams on model development

• Moroccan citizen, aligned with our local roots and global aspirations

• Open to starting part-time with a clear path to full-time leadership

• Based in or willing to relocate to Casablanca HQ (with hybrid flexibility)
