Job Description
TELUS is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Specialist to join our Operations team. In this role, you will be a key contributor to our billing, invoicing, and administrative workflows, leveraging your expertise in SAP and your deep understanding of the telecommunications industry. You will collaborate cross-functionally with finance, procurement, and operations teams to ensure seamless administrative processes that support TELUS's mission to connect Canadians.
Process, validate, and manage end-to-end invoicing cycles using SAP (FI/MM modules), ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Reconcile vendor and customer accounts, investigate discrepancies, and coordinate resolution with relevant stakeholders in a timely manner.
Support the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams with month-end and quarter-end close activities, including accruals and reporting.
Generate and distribute financial and operational reports from SAP to support management decision-making.
Liaise with internal departments (network, procurement, legal) and external vendors/carriers to resolve billing disputes specific to telecom services (e.g., interconnect, roaming, wholesale).
Required Qualifications
· 2–4 years of administrative or finance experience in a corporate environment.
· Hands-on experience with SAP ERP (FI, MM, or SD modules).
· Proven track record in invoicing, billing, or accounts payable/receivable.
· Experience in the telecommunications industry (wireline, wireless, or internet services).
· Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
· Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
