Role Purpose
The Unit Manager is responsible for driving sales performance, ensuring flawless execution of company strategies, and building strong customer relationships within the assigned territory. He/she will manage and coach Sales Representatives, ensuring distribution, visibility, and merchandising targets are achieved across wholesale, retail, and/or mini-market channels.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Target Achievement
Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the unit.
Ensure effective coverage, route-to-market, and channel execution.
Monitor Sell in and drive sell-out at customer level.
Team Management
Lead, coach, and develop a team of Sales Representatives.
Conduct regular field visits and joint work sessions.
Ensure discipline, motivation, and accountability within the team.
Customer Development
Build strong relationships with key customers and wholesalers.
Negotiate activations, visibility, and availability at POS.
Ensure compliance with trade agreements and company guidelines.
Execution & Visibility
Guarantee perfect execution of promotions, activations, and trade marketing initiatives.
Monitor competitor activities and report market intelligence.
Ensure planograms, pricing, and merchandising standards are implemented.
Reporting & Analysis
Provide regular performance reports to the Sales Manager.
Track KPIs: sales, coverage, strike rate, visibility, OOS.
Track Sales Team performance OKR
Recommend corrective actions to improve performance.
Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field.
5+ years of sales experience in FMCG (preferably in Morocco).
At least 2 years in a supervisory/managerial position.
Strong leadership and people management skills.
Excellent negotiation and customer relationship abilities.
Analytical, organized, and results-oriented.
Based in or willing to relocate to the North region.
