We are looking for an experienced Store Manager to lead and oversee daily operations in our 500 m² grocery and household goods store. The ideal candidate has a strong background in supermarket management, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to motivate and supervise a team of 18 employees.
Responsibilities
* Manage day-to-day store operations (grocery, fresh products, household items).
* Supervise, train, and motivate a team of 18 staff members (cashiers, stock clerks, shelf organizers).
* Ensure shelves are well stocked, organized, and products are displayed according to company standards.
* Monitor stock levels, place orders, and coordinate with suppliers.
* Control product quality and track expiration dates to guarantee compliance with hygiene and safety standards.
* Develop weekly schedules and manage staff performance.
* Handle customer service issues and maintain a high level of client satisfaction.
* Report directly to ownership/upper management on sales, stock, and operations.
Requirements
* Minimum 5 years of experience in a supermarket or hypermarket (Marjane, Carrefour, BIM, or similar brands preferred).
* Strong leadership skills and proven experience managing large teams.
* Excellent knowledge of stock management and merchandising.
* Ability to work under pressure and handle fast-paced retail operations.
* Languages: Fluent in Arabic and French (both required).
* Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
