Description du poste

The Transport Buyer Specialist is responsible for supporting the procurement and management of transport services, ensuring cost-effectiveness, compliance, and alignment with internal procedures. The role involves close collaboration with carriers, internal stakeholders, and the finance team. Key activities include:

* Support in the selection and onboarding of transport providers
* Management and analysis of transport tariffs
* Preparation, negotiation, and administration of transport contracts
* Creation and management of purchase orders in SAP
* Participation in customer tenders and preparation of transport quotations
* Network analysis to support route optimization and pricing strategies
* Collaboration with the invoicing team for pre-invoice validation
* Data consistency checks across systems and documentation

Qualifications

* Bac + 5 en génie industriel et logistique
* 3 to 5 years of experience
* Knowledge of transport and logistics processes
* Familiarity with procurement or supplier management practices
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools
* Experience with SAP, particularly in purchase order management
* Strong communication and negotiation skills
* Ability to work with cross-functional teams and external partners
* Fluency in Italian and English (written and spoken)
