About the Role

The Financial Consultant is responsible for delivering financial advisory, analysis, and solution support across business processes such as accounting, treasury, tax, and financial planning. The role requires a strong blend of finance domain expertise and consulting capability to support enterprise clients, drive financial insights, and enhance business performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Finance Consultants and Application Support Analysts.

• Manage workload allocation, priorities, and team performance to ensure compliance with service levels and business commitments.

• Act as the primary escalation point for complex functional and operational issues.

• Drive knowledge management, training initiatives, and best-practice sharing across the team.

• Provide financial advisory across GL, AP/AR, Treasury, and Tax

• Analyze financial data and deliver insights to support decision-making

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning

• Manage finance applications (ERP/SaaS), including incidents and enhancements

• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls

• Prepare reports, dashboards, and KPIs

• Drive continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives

Required Qualifications & Experience

• 7–10 years of experience in Finance Consulting, ERP Finance, Financial Systems, or Application Support environments.

• Previous experience leading or mentoring teams in an AMS, Shared Services, or Consulting environment.

• Good knowledge of Application Maintenance Support (ITSM)

• Strong understanding of accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP)

• Experience in at least one area: Treasury, Tax, or FP&A

• Strong communication skills (English & French) mandatory
