Job Description

As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you will ensure that our suppliers meet the strict quality standards required in the automotive industry. You will work closely with suppliers to enhance their processes and performance, conduct quality audits, and ensure compliance with industry standards such as APQP, PPAP, and IATF 16949.

Location: Based in Morocco (Tangier, Kenitra, Casablanca)

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

* Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery performance.
* Conduct regular supplier audits and implement quality improvement plans.
* Lead APQP activities for new product launches and changes.
* Review and approve PPAP submissions and resolve identified issues.
* Conduct capacity studies and analyze supplier production processes.
* Identify and implement continuous improvement actions across the supply chain.
* Lead root cause analysis (8D, 5-Why, Fishbone) to resolve quality issues.
* Provide technical support to suppliers to reduce defects and improve quality.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
* 3 to 5 years of automotive experience and 1 to 3 years in Electronics/Wire Harness industries.
* Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, IATF 16949, and other automotive quality standards.
* Experience conducting supplier audits and capacity studies.
* Excellent problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Willingness to travel frequently within the Middle East and Africa.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Quality management certifications (VDA, OEM-specific).
* Knowledge of quality tools and methodologies (MSA, SPC, FMEA).
