About the Job
Within the framework of missions and goals of the Supplier Quality Development Department, the SQVL is the operational manager accountable for the SQ activities to the stakeholders (platform, engineering, quality, plant), for a car line. Operating from the pre-sourcing until the end of the development (SOP+6 months), reporting to the SQPM Segment Manager, he drives the SQ contribution to successful project launches being accountable on key processes management: SQD assessment in RFQ, Supplier Industrial Planning / Part Maturity Level, Critical Supplier List, Capacity Evaluation.
Key Responsibilities
* Set regular follow-up to be accountable for CQC to support project sourcing strategy (assessment of manufacturability and industrialization of potential suppliers) and sourcing activities ensuring the best qualified suppliers are sourced and lessons learned applied.
* Set regular follow-up to be accountable for the PC (Project Coordinator) deliverables about the supplier manufacturing readiness at each stage of the project.
* TKO plan follow-up to ensure it is done according to program timing.
* Risk assessment and mitigation actions for no-OT / no-OTOP / no-PPAP parts consistent with the car milestones.
* Set regular follow-up to be accountable for the CL (Convergence Leader) deliverables at each stage of the project:
* Coordination of quality issues resolution for supplier manufacturing non-conformity ensuring each open item has a recovery plan consistent towards car milestones
* Manage Capacity Assessment and ensure readiness according to program deliverables
* Ensure roadblocks (e.g., quality convergence, timing, capacity) are escalated at the proper level of the Supplier organization and recurrent follow-up action plans are fixed.
* Foster APQP deliverables under SQE responsibility.
* Ensure SQD representation at suppliers steering meetings
* Ensure proper representation of SQD in all program Gate Reviews, Escalation Meetings, Vehicle plant and Project regular activities (Sourcing preparation meetings, Daily Meetings…)
* Ensure regular reporting sessions for the progress of Program/Projects milestones deliverables about suppliers manufacturing items (process, part maturity level and capacity readiness).
* Escalate the Critical Issues identified during the development phase towards the projects / purchasing team into Stellantis organization and ensure recurrent follow-up are organized.
* Organize SQD-Project conventions.
* Collects the lessons learned about Supplier’ related issue developed along the program line
* Ensure CQC capitalizes the lessons learned for the other launches.
