Job Summary
Oversee the servicing and repair of equipment as well as employee selection, training and safety for all assigned projects.
Purpose: To manage the portfolio in the most cost-effective way and to ensure that he instils in their team the Vision and Mission of Otis.
Qualifications and Experience:
Supervisor Development Diploma
Business Management Diploma would be advantageous
3 Years’ experience in a similar role

Principal Roles and Responsibilities:
Customer and Account Management:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty Conduct regular business reviews with key customers to understand their needs and expectations Resolve customer issues efficiently, ensuring minimal downtime and Callbacks Respond promptly to customer inquiries, concerns and complaints.
Portfolio Growth and Development
Execute strategies to grow the maintenance portfolio. Identify and pursue new sales opportunities for repairs and modernization. Collaborate with sales teams to develop customized solutions for clients. Conduct site surveys & assessments to identify potential recovery and modernization opportunities.
Operation Management and Team Development
Supervise and coordinate maintenance mechanics, assigning tasks and monitoring progress for all field maintenance activities (PM, CBs, repairs, etc.). Liaise with FOD to train and develop maintenance mechanics, ensuring skills alignment with company needs. Manage employee relations, resolving conflicts and ensuring a positive work environment. Support maintenance mechanics technically and identify areas of developments. Schedule and prioritize maintenance tasks, ensuring efficient resource allocation. Conduct performance evaluations, providing constructive feedback and coaching. Foster a culture of teamwork, innovation and continuous improvement. Promote employee engagement, recognition, and rewards. Ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures.
Safety and Quality Assurance
Develop, implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures following OTIS safety rules and policies. Conduct regular safety training and workshops for mechanics. Perform safety audits (FPAs) and inspections for mechanics and units (OSA). Investigate incidents/accidents, documenting root causes and recommending corrective actions Reporting all incidents, accidents and near misses to EH&S. Ensure compliance with quality standards, conducting regular audits and inspections. Develop and maintain quality control processes, improving overall performance. Collaborate with the quality team & FOD to implement best practices.
Callback Reduction and Quality Improvement
Analyze callback data, identifying trends and areas for improvement. Develop and implement strategies to reduce callbacks. Ensure Product Upgrade Instructions (PUIs) closure on timely manner. Ensure timely resolution of customer complaints and issues. Implement corrective actions, addressing performance gaps.
Other Responsibilities
Participate in audits, providing necessary information. Collaborate with other departments (e.g., sales, finance) to achieve company objectives. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
