Role Description The Spa Therapist is responsible for delivering a range of high-quality spa treatments to guests, including facials, body therapies, massages, manicures, and pedicures, in accordance with The Oberoi’s standards and protocols. Day-to-day responsibilities include welcoming guests, conducting consultations to understand their needs, recommending appropriate treatments and wellness solutions, and maintaining a calm, clean, and safe spa environment. The role involves preparing treatment rooms, ensuring hygiene and sanitation, managing treatment schedules, and promoting spa services and products to enhance the guest experience. The Spa Therapist will collaborate closely with the wellness and front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service, accurate bookings, and consistent guest satisfaction. This is a full-time, on-site role based at The Oberoi, Marrakech in the Marrakesh-Safi region of Morocco.

Qualifications

• Professional expertise in spa treatments, including a variety of body therapies and relaxation techniques.

• Skills in cosmetology and facials, with the ability to recommend suitable treatments and skincare routines.

• Proficiency in pedicures and other basic nail and foot care services, ensuring guest comfort and safety.

• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest well-being, communication, and discretion.

• Relevant certification or diploma in spa therapy, cosmetology, or wellness from a recognized institution.

• Knowledge of hygiene, health, and safety protocols in spa operations.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by resort operations.

• Prior experience in luxury hospitality or high-end spa environments is an advantage.

• Basic proficiency in French and English.
