Senior Copywriter World Wide Agency, Full Time
We are a fast growing content and marketing agency working with some of the most recognized personal brands and podcasters in North America. We produce content, run social media, manage paid campaigns, and build marketing strategies for clients who expect world class quality every time.
We are looking for a senior copywriter who is genuinely obsessed with words. Not someone who can write. Someone who thinks about why certain sentences stop people and others do not. Someone who reads a caption and immediately knows what is wrong with it and how to fix it. Someone who can write a hook that makes you forget you were about to scroll past.
This is not a junior role. We need someone who has been doing this long enough to have strong opinions about what works and be able to back those opinions up with results.
What you will do
You will be the person who makes everything we write sharper. That means writing hooks for social media content across multiple clients and niches, writing and editing captions that sound exactly like the client and not like an agency, and writing SEO optimized blog articles that rank on Google and are actually enjoyable to read.
You will also be the last set of eyes on everything before it goes to a client. Every caption, every blog post, every piece of copy that leaves this agency goes through you first. You catch the spelling mistakes, the grammar issues, the sentences that do not make sense, the words that were autocorrected into something wrong, and the lines that a social manager wrote at 11pm that need one more pass before a client sees them. This is one of the most important parts of the role. Our clients judge us on the quality of every single word we send them and you are the person who protects that standard.
You will build and maintain hook libraries and caption frameworks that the whole team uses. You will work closely with our social managers to raise the quality of their copy. When a caption is not landing you will be the one who looks at it and explains specifically what is wrong and how to fix it. Teaching is part of this role.
For blog content you will handle everything from keyword research using tools like Answer The Public and Google to writing full articles structured for SEO with proper H1 and H2 headings, meta descriptions, internal links, and schema friendly formatting. The articles need to rank and they need to be worth reading. Both matter equally.
What we need from you
You have at least 4 years writing copy professionally. Not just any copy. Social media copy, short form hooks, and long form blog content. You have done all three and you have a portfolio that proves it.
You understand the difference between writing for a warm audience and writing for a cold audience. You know why a hook needs to land in the first three seconds. You know what makes someone save a post versus just scroll past it.
You have written SEO content that actually ranked. Not just content with keywords stuffed into it but real articles that answered a question people were searching for and showed up on the first page because of it.
Your attention to detail is exceptional. You catch things other people miss. A wrong apostrophe bothers you. A vague sentence that could be sharper bothers you. A word that was used twice in the same paragraph bothers you. That level of care is not a nice to have for this role. It is the job.
You can write in multiple brand voices. A bold direct coach sounds completely different from a warm approachable wellness brand. You switch between them without thinking about it because you build a real understanding of each voice before you write a single word.
You can work at pace. We produce a high volume of content for multiple clients and the quality standard does not drop when the deadline is tight.
What will make you stand out
You have experience writing specifically for personal brands and podcast hosts. You understand that when someone has built an audience around their personality the copy needs to sound like them not like a professional writer cleaned it up.
You have used AI tools like Claude or ChatGPT as part of your writing process and you know how to prompt them effectively and then edit the output into something that actually sounds human.
You understand ManyChat or similar DM automation tools and have written keyword triggered response flows before.
You have written content that generated measurable results. Not just content that looked good. Content that drove saves, shares, leads, or revenue and you can speak to why it worked.
