Salesforce System Administrator & Developer

The Salesforce System Administrator & Developer is responsible for the configuration, customization, and ongoing support of our global Salesforce CRM platform, which integrates with Certinia PSA and NetSuite ERP. Reporting to the Technical Architect, this role combines system administration, declarative development, and programmatic customization to ensure the platform meets evolving business needs.

* Administer, configure, and maintain Salesforce environments, including user management, security settings, profiles, roles, and permission sets.
* Develop and customize Salesforce solutions using declarative tools (Flows, Process Builder, Validation Rules) and programmatic approaches (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components).
* Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective Salesforce solutions.
* Support integration efforts with Certinia PSA, NetSuite ERP, and other business systems, working closely with the Integration Specialist and Technical Architect.
* Manage the Salesforce release lifecycle, including sandbox management, change set deployment, and post-release validation.
* Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide timely resolution to user-reported problems.
* Maintain data quality through data imports, deduplication, and validation processes.
* Create and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and training materials.
* Ensure compliance with security, data privacy, and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR).
* Stay current with Salesforce platform updates, features, and best practices, and proactively recommend improvements.
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Information Systems, or a related field is required.
* Equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience may be considered.
* Additional Salesforce certifications or relevant technical training are advantageous.
* Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Administrator and/or Developer in a medium to large enterprise environment.
* Experience supporting Salesforce integrations with other enterprise systems (preferably Certinia PSA and/or NetSuite ERP).
* Proven track record of managing Salesforce configuration, customization, and user support.
* Experience with Salesforce release management and deployment processes.
* Familiarity with global or multi-region Salesforce deployments is a plus.

English (Fluently spoken and technical). French nice to have.

* Proficiency with Salesforce administration (user management, security, data management, reports, dashboards).
* Strong skills in declarative development (Flows, Process Builder, Validation Rules).
* Experience with Apex programming, Lightning Web Components, and Visualforce.
* Understanding of Salesforce APIs (REST/SOAP) and integration patterns.
* Experience with Salesforce deployment tools (Change Sets, ANT, Salesforce CLI).
* Familiarity with data migration tools (Data Loader, Data Import Wizard).
* Knowledge of Salesforce security and compliance best practices.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
* Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, global environment.
* Team player with a proactive, self-motivated approach to learning and continuous improvement.
* Experience in regulated industries (e.g., GDPR, SOX compliance) is a plus.
* Salesforce certifications (Administrator, Platform App Builder, Platform Developer I/II) are highly desirable.
