JOB PURPOSE / OBJECTIVE:
The Sales Director leads LGE’s sales strategy across Traditional, Modern Trade, and Online Brand Shop (OBS) channels. The role ensures brand visibility, revenue growth, and market competitiveness through effective Go-to-Market execution, sales operations oversight, and market intelligence. It also supports top management with insights on customer needs, market trends, and performance analysis.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic Leadership & Go-to-Market Execution
* Develop and implement comprehensive Go-to-Market strategies aligned with LGE’s business objectives and market dynamics.
* Lead channel strategy across Traditional, Modern Trade, and OBS (e-commerce), ensuring optimal product placement, pricing, and promotional execution.
* Collaborate with Marketing, Product Management, and Supply Chain to ensure seamless execution of sales plans.
Channel Management
* Own and drive performance across all sales channels, ensuring channel-specific strategies are tailored to customer behavior and market trends.
* Monitor and optimize channel mix to maximize profitability and customer reach.
* Ensure OBS (Online Brand Shop) is positioned as a strategic growth lever, with clear KPIs and performance tracking.
Sales Operations & Performance Management
* Set and communicate sales targets, objectives, and KPIs across teams.
* Monitor sales performance by dealer, channel, and product category; implement corrective actions as needed.
* Analyze sales data and market intelligence to inform strategic decisions and identify growth opportunities.
Customer & Market Engagement
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, distributors, and partners.
* Handle escalated customer issues and ensure timely resolution.
* Stay abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and consumer insights to inform strategy.
Reporting & Communication
* Provide regular updates and insights to senior leadership on sales performance, market dynamics, and strategic initiatives.
* Share actionable sales data with internal stakeholders to support decision-making and planning.
Team Leadership & Development
* Lead, coach, and develop the sales team to achieve high performance and engagement.
* Foster a culture of accountability, customer focus, and continuous improvement.
* Ensure alignment between sales teams and other departments to drive collaboration and execution.
JOB SPECIFICATION
EXPERIENCE
* Minimum 10 years of experience in sales leadership roles, preferably in consumer electronics or FMCG.
QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred
