Quality Test Engineer

COBCO was established in 2023 through a joint venture between the Chinese group CNGR, a global leader in the production of materials for electric vehicle batteries, and the AL MADA group, one of the largest private investment funds in Africa.

The company is developing an industrial park in Jorf Lasfar dedicated to the manufacturing of battery components for electric vehicles. Covering over 200 hectares and involving an investment of 20 billion dirhams, this industrial park aims to produce 120,000 tons of NMC precursors, 60,000 tons of LFP components, and 30,000 tons of black mass annually.

COBCO's production will support the manufacturing of battery materials for over one million electric vehicles each year.

Responsibilities :

* Assist in the establishment and improvement of the testing system to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of the testing data;
* Participate in the analysis of abnormal detection data, find the root cause and develop solutions;
* Participate in the internal affairs of the analysis room, 6S and safety and environmental protection management;
* Responsible for training analysts on skills, safety and company policies as required;
* Responsible for the formulation and implementation of operating procedures for analytical instruments and equipment;
* Participate in the research and selection of new testing equipment and initiate procurement;
* Responsible for debugging, calibration, maintenance and maintenance of analytical instruments and equipment;
* Participate in the formulation of safety inventory standards for materials in the analysis room;
* Responsible for purchasing, receiving, keeping and account management of materials in and out of the analysis room;
* Responsible for the preparation, calibration and storage management of analytical standard substances;
* Responsible for compiling and revising the management system and operation instructions of the analysis room, and checking their effectiveness and applicability in time;
* Supervise and guide analysts to carry out testing according to standard operating instructions and equipment operating procedures;
* Participate in external test benchmarking with suppliers, customers and third parties;
* Other work assigned by the leader.

Candidate :

* College degree or above, major in chemical analysis or related;
* At least 2 years relevant laboratory testing experience;
* Have professional knowledge of analysis and testing; Familiar with chemical analysis, conventional analysis methods and instruments, understanding of smelting industry knowledge.1. More than 3 years of experience in analysis and testing;
* Proficient in chemical analysis methods of materials;
* Familiar with the use of X-ray fluorescence, ICP, AAS, spectrophotometer and other analytical instruments;
* Love the job, progressive thinking, with strong organizational management and coordination skills;
* Adhere to principles, have a strong sense of responsibility and dedication;
* Understand and master quality inspection and management knowledge;
* Strong learning ability and willingness as well as the ability to analyze and solve problems.
