Role Purpose:
As Quality Engineer you will be leading and coordinating product and process quality assurance and improvement activities being part of the cross-functional team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepares root cause analysis for product and process related concerns with teamwork approach
* Acts as main customer quality interface (contact person for customer regarding complaints)
* Prepares and communicates documents for presenting to customer regarding quality topics, corrective action plans
* Responsible in defining and verifying corrective and preventive actions for internal & external claims
* Monitoring of implementation of corrective and preventive actions
* Verifying the efficiency of corrective and preventive measures
* Supports cross-functional team with problem analysis and problem-solving methods
* Participates in customer visits and audits preparation and ensures action plan follow up
* Organizes Quality Inspectors work in respective areas when necessary
* Prepares instructions and makes training to Quality Inspectors (checking instructions, inspection method, procedures etc)
* Participates in process risk analysis (PFMEA) and leads the creation of control plan with relevant team; makes sure improvements from analysis are planned and implemented
* Prepares quality reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing quality data; defines recommendations for improvements
* Prepares necessary data for customer PPAPs in cooperation with quality technician
* Applies statistical methods to understand and develop process control and capability where possible
* Performs internal process and quality system audits
* Coordinates and drives continuous improvement program
* Participates in Program/Project Management team (APQP team) when assigned to implement quality assurance

Your Profile:
* Master’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
* Minimum 2 years professional experience in the automotive wiring harness industry
* Strong background in quality management systems and tools, preferably within automotive manufacturing
* In-depth knowledge of automotive industry standards (ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 / VDA)
* Proficient in automotive quality tools: APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC and 8D methodology
* Ability to read and interpret part drawings, technical and assembly drawings
* Internal Quality Auditor certification (Advantage)
* Strong analytical skills with ability to resolve issues and respond to customer requests in timely manner
* Ability to analyze and interpret complex data to support fast, data-driven decisions.
* Gage/GD&T understanding (Advantage)
* Knowledge of VDA 6.3 and VDA 6.5 (Advantage)
* Strong cooperation and communication skills
* Effective team player able to collaborate across functions and cultures

* Fluent in English, Arabic and French.
