Purchase goods, materials and services to ensure that the company operational needs are met, by negotiating best price, quality and ensuring on-time delivery according to the company guidelines.
What you’ll do :
* Purchase goods, materials, components or services in line with specified cost, quality and delivery targets.
* Negotiate contracts with suppliers, vendors and subcontractors to ensure best value and cost savings.
* Support the Procurement function and other relevant departments and communicate any supply problems which may impact on business operations.
* Prepare and follow-up the purchase orders until their submission.
* Ensure the implementation of supplier agreements.
* Keep purchase documents records.
* Prepare reports and updates as and when required.
* Oversee the timely delivery and effectiveness of the day-to-day activities of suppliers.
* Ensure compliance to company guidelines, purchasing policies and procedures and during supplier PO and contracts award process.
Analyze market trends and industry changes to develop cost-effective strategies for procurement.
Who you are ?
* Bachelor or master’s degree in Management-Purchasing or Supply Chain Management.
* Previous experience min 5 years of working in a purchasing team preferably in FMCG sector/ in an international environment.
* Experience of working closely with local & foreign suppliers.
* Keep attention to detail and accuracy.
* Spoken and written English.
* Computer literate, with advanced Excel skills/abilities - SAP.
